Corrections policy

Accuracy matters. If a story contains a factual error, contact tips@newportstories.uk with the article link and the evidence for the correction.

Material corrections will be made promptly. Where a change meaningfully alters the story, the article will show an updated date or a short note explaining the correction.

Minor spelling, grammar, formatting and style fixes may be corrected without a note when they do not change the meaning of the article.
